As I was volunteering as librarian this afternoon I thought a wide-open shot of a library shelf would be an appropriate start to a month with the K50/1.4. Taken using my Pentax K-3iii, hand-held, catch in focus and cropped slightly to improve composition.

I managed to shoot a single frame before I was told the church was closing. Despite what the EXIF says, it was shot at f/2. Pentax K-3iii, SMC Pentax "K" 50mm f/1.4 lens.

These wooden grave markers (a sort of "tomb-wood" rather than tombstone) are not uncommon in Hertfordshire churchyards although they are mostly very weathered now. Pentax K-3iii, SMC Pentax "K" 50mm f/1.4 lens.

My Pentax LX with a LX Motordrive and a recently rebuilt NiCAD LX battery pack. I could shoot a roll of film in just over seven seconds if I was feeling a bit deranged. Pentax K-3iii, SMC Pentax "K" 50mm f/1.4 lens.
