Rather extreme image processing to get the skeleton with its hourglass and scythe to show. The monument dates to 1626 but the painted inscription is no longer visible. St Andrew's, Norton, Suffolk.

The monument is to Susanna Holt. Unfortunately, I could not read the date that she died but the HMI volume for the churchyard states 5th September 1773, aged 73.

All Saints' churchyard, Hertford. I couldn't make out the name on this one although with the right light in should be readable. The skull is depicted at an angle coming out the base and as a result isn't as clear as some.

From All Saints, Hertford. The monument is to Elizabeth Harrod who died in 1730 (or perhaps 1736, the inscription is weathered). Her husband Thomas is also celebrated on this tombstone although he appears to have been added later.

A tombstone from All Saints, Hertford. The monument is to Honour East, wife of William East. She "was one of those Prudent wives whose Virtue obtained a Good Report"! She died age 43 in 1711.
