My daughter made this picture. She and her partner accompanied me to Spain. The total eclips is going to start so I have to remove the solar filter.

A bit late for the World Photography Day 2026 and the picture is made 7 days too early but I hope it is acceptable. For me the total eclips of the sun was the photographic event of the year.

I am off to northern Spain where you can see a total eclips. In Germany the eclips it not total, but between 84 and 90%. The picture shows the beginning times in red and the end times in yellow. Roughly inbetween is the maximum. Note that the times are MEZ times, because of summertime you have to add 1 hour.
