Another tabletop photography experiment - using evening primrose oil capsules. Photographed on black in natural (window) light and processed using ON1 Raw.
Christmas fruit and spices.

Still Life..........Garlic
Taken in my garden in natural light on a table with a piece of white cardboard as a background. I have a wooden fence near my back door against which I place a small folding table and I can then attach the background to the fence with drawing pins. It only works when it's dry and sunny with no wind though.
There is another image in the PiP if you have time to look.
Funnily enough..........I didn't eat these immediately after the photo was taken :-)))
Sorting my Meds!
When you take pills every day, it pays to be organised and get them sorted out for the next week or so ahead.
I thought I'd share a photo of my recent sorting session..............I think I'm going to need more containers.
Taken on my tabletop using natural light and a craft paper background.
Please don't ask what happened to the "pills" after the photo was taken............I'm still feeling a bit guilty about that :-)))
Fruit of the Hedgerow
Some beautiful red blackberries just waiting to ripen........free for anyone who cares to pick them, unless the birds get there first!
Apples
Taken in my garden.
I find myself wondering what the apple on the left said to the apple on the right to make it blush.......but I'll never know because I ate the apple on the left after I took this photo and I ate the other one yesterday :-)))
Tomato Moon
Also known as a Solanum Lycopersicum Moon....a rare phenomenon which only occurs once every two or three hundred years when the regular moon briefly changes it's appearance. I was lucky enough to be standing in my garden when it happened. It lasted for only a minute or so before it disappeared and I was left wondering if I'd been dreaming.
Have a good Friday everyone!

Chocolate Stars (+PiP)
Taken for the Macro Dreams Challenges group...........subject: "Chocolate".
It should also fit in an earlier challenge: Multiple.
Taken indoors using some patterned card as a background and a cheap LED panel for lighting.
There is a bonus image in the PiP if you have time to view it. Thank you.
Honeycomb (with chocolate and popping candy)!

Spotted this in a shop yesterday in amongst some items that were being sold off cheaply after Christmas, so I bought some for photographic purposes only ;-))
It is grey, damp and miserable here at the moment, so tabletop photography is the way to go!
Bottle of Milk
...........and as they saying goes, "it's no use crying over spilt milk" ;-))
A extra one from me today primarily for the Macro Dreams Challenge group, on the theme Bottle of Milk.
Would also fit into the following previous challenges: End on, Black and White, Glass Circles or Curves.
I used a "mini" milk bottle for the shot, so this is about twice life size.
Broken Oat Biscuits
Posted for the Macro Dreams Challenges Group, Theme: Broken, Cracked or Torn.
It also fits in the previous challenges: Biscuits, Something Rough.
Thanks for looking.........and before you ask, I ate the lot afterwards with a nice cup of tea (after all you can't put all those bits back in the biscuit tin, can you?).
Ice Cream
This is posted for the Macro Dreams Challenges Group latest theme: My Favourite Winter Dessert.
To be fair ice-cream is my favourite dessert all year round, not just in winter. This particular one is called Viennetta, a shop-bought ice vanilla ice cream with chocolate and mint layers. Yummy!
It also fits the previous challenges: Chocolate, Green, Something Frozen, Multi Coloured, Five or more.
Macarons and Sugar Sprinkles
A bit of tabletop photography in the warm yestertday. As always, a bit of card as a background, the "plate" is a slice of wood and the macarons were shop bought, as were the sugar sprinkles. Natural light from the window, with a bit of help from an LED panel. I used a tripod as well.
Kiwi Fruit (+PiP)

There's a black and white version in the PiP.
Thanks to everyone for all your visits/comments/stars..........always much appreciated. I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend.

Slices of dried lime placed on white paper on top of an A4 sized LED light panel. Another image in the PiP.
Try viewing large if you have time. Thanks for looking.
