Waiting Patiently
I found this Garden Spider lurking in the centre of its web, which covered around half of one of my shed windows. It was quite happy to let me get very close with my camera and macro lens.
Guydel, Xata, Amelia, aNNa schramm and 20 other people have particularly liked this photo

Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating her curds and whey,
when down came a spider that sat down beside her,
so she pulled its legs off!!
Excuse my humour I can't help myself :-)

Keith Burton club has replied to TOZ clubKeith Burton club has replied to DOMCHO clubThe spider was on a window in my shed, so I was able to brace myself against the overhang of the roof, and more importantly, my Olympus camera has excellent image stabilisation.
As we use mostly the same gear - how is your experience with focus stacking? I have a hard time getting good results...
