Wow,ist dieser Schmetterling aber hübsch lieber Keith,da hast du sehr schöne Nahaufnahmen mit perfekten Details vom Schmetterling gezeigt und du hast auch eine sehr schöne Collage draus gemacht :)),ich habe ja heuer auch weniger Schmetterlinge auf meiner Runde,ansonsten waren es vor allem Bläulinge,die ich die letzten Jahre sah,die sind aber heuer auch weniger,dafür habe ich mehrere Arten heuer entdeckt,aber auch nur in kleinen Mengen lieber Keith,da freut man sich umso mehr,wenn einer vorbei fliegt :))

Dit zijn ook de enigste vlinders, ( behalve de koolwitjes) die ik dit jaar heb gezien. Wel zijn er dit jaar veel libelle's en dat maakt veel goed. Groeten, Frans.

Schmetterlinge fotografieren ist oft schwierig, weil sie schnell wegfliegen. Um so besser, dass dir eine Serie gelungen ist. Eine sehr schöne Kollage, Keith!

An attractive butterfly with nice earthy colours and excellent detail,
They never stay in one place long enough for me get shots of them, that's why I prefer landscapes pehaps ;-))

Excellent takes, would prefer to see them on PIP than in patchwork, but it is only my opinion…

Glad you like them Isabel..............I do show quite a few PiPs in my photos, but when I'm busy a collage is much quicker to do. Sorry about that..........I'll try and remember your preferences next time :-))

Ergänzung: Diesen Schmetterling sehe ich seit Tagen in meinem Garten. Es ist das Waldbrettspiel (Pararge aegeria). Die männlichen Schmetterlinge sind sehr ortstreu. Sie bewachen ihr Revier. Deshalb kann man sie immer wieder gut beobachten.
