Hello Keith, these are both beautiful shots. The main image shows adult mating Woundwort Shieldbugs (Eysarcoris venustissimus), there are three mating pair in your image. They appear to be on Hedge Woundwort. The eggs will be laid on the leaves or amongst the flower spikes. The young nymphs take some finding but often hide inside the calyx of the developing seed pods, easy to find once you know where to look for them.
