No............their emblem is a leek! But as I assume you're referring to their headgear, yes it is quite similar in look!

A god idea Keith, we all view things differently I think for a white background there are to many in a row the group of 4 on the left would be good and the 4th head from the left on it's own with the stems curling round the seed head. Do you know what they were used for ?

Thanks for your interesting comments Peter........but this was not an "arranged" photo. It was taken at the edge of a field in the countryside. I suppose I could have cropped some of the heads out or broke them off before I took the shot. The only thing I've done apart from sharpening it and the black and white conversion was to crop off all the untidy bits at the bottom.

Teasels are basically a thistle-type plant with purple flowerless which die back to reveal the seed heads that you can see. Birds love them, especially goldfinches!

Nach so einen langweiligen Himmel ist es toll,dass du diese SW Umsetzung gewählt hast lieber Keith,Mut wird fast immer belohnt in der Fotografie und auch diese Pflanze kommt mit dem weißen Hintergrund sehr schön rüber,da hast du wieder was Tolles rausgeholt aus einer langweiligen Aufnahme :))
