Superb composition and a colourful beach scene Keith, the fishing paraphernalia along side the boats adds so much to the balance of this wonderful image, How big was that gull ?

Thanks matey...........glad you like it. The gull was a biggun.........one of those juveniles that are larger than it's parents.

They look like they're related Keith! Very well composed shot. Is that wind turbines in the distance? Great sky too!!

Have a nice evening.

Twins I think, but not completely identical :-)) Glad you like them.

Yes, there is a huge wind farm out to sea with dozens of turbines. In this light they're barely visible. People complain they spoil the view..........but I can't see that to be honest and anyway we need them. Better to lose the view than the planet!

Not a bad capture here Keith. I hop you don't mind me observing that I think it a little bright maybe :) I think you also needed another boat instead of the pile of rubbish :) , otherwise a very nice scene indeed my friend.

Keep good. Herb

Thanks for the feedback Herb.............I have to admit to pushing the vibrance a little in PP, but I wanted them to stand out. Maybe I went a touch too far for some tastes. The "rubbish" is actually the fishing nets, buoys, containers etc that the fishermen use. I admit it doesn't look very tidy though.

I have another view of the boats to post yet...............which gives a bit more context.

Milly and Florence are the names of my two granddaughters who live near Edinburgh. One is a dentist (Milly) and Flo is in her fourth year at Dundee Uni. How nice to see them together. Thank you Keith. :-))))

Two beautifully painted craft! Quite a contrast to the pile of junk alongside. Love it!

Zwei farbenfrohe Boote, die offensichtlich zum Fischen benutzt werden. Das Netz liegt am Strand. Auch der Windpark am Horizont ist interessant.
Eine gelungene Aufnahme, Keith!
