Scattering Spiderlings

Scattering Spiderlings
Taken in my garden. This is what happens when you touch a "ball" of baby spiders - they all scatter away! If you go back in half an hour, they will have returned and re-formed. Over the next few days they will gradually go off on their own. (See my previous image for the "ball".

They look so cute and that's something I never thought I'd say about spiders. I was terrified of them right into my adult life but photography turned out to be a cure.

Thanks Wilhelm....................glad you like the shot. They're so small they can get to all sorts of odd places, but when they're ready they soon move on.
