OH MY GOODNESS...*falls over*...WHAT A BEAUTY!!! The colors are just out of this world!! I had no idea there was such a colorful bird like that where you live. I know you guys have kingfishers too, but this bird is a surprise and the first time I've seen a magpie this colorful! (I've seen the b/w ones but they're not actually "colorful"!)

Much obliged everyone...................Magpies are quite common in the churchyard, but I rarely get close enough for a photo. This one is quite a big crop!

Schöner Vogel, gut erwischt! Elstern kommen auch in meinen Garten ,aber sie brüten weiter weg. Sie können ziemlich laut sein, wenn sie sich streiten.
