Signs of an early Spring?

Signs of an early Spring?
Taken at the beginning of this month, in my garden.

I just want to say thank you to all those who have wished me well over the past few weeks either on my photo-stream or in a private message. I am well on the mend now and hope to be posting more often. I am still restricted a bit in that I'm not allowed to lift anything remotely heavy and I'm not allowed to do anything strenuous for another four weeks or so. My car is still off the road as well so I won't be able to travel far anyway!

I'll be playing catch-up with commenting etc for a while. I hope you are all well :-)

Anton Cruz Carro, Petar Bojić, Treasa Ui Cionaodha, Aschi "Freestone" and 14 other people have particularly liked this photo

nice read you are on the mend. Not too strenuous to lift the camera I suggest.

You have returned with a beautiful picture Keith. Is this a marigold? It seems early but my daughter has one growing from her wall that hasn't stopped flowering since summer!
I hope you continue to recover well, and that your car is soon sorted out. Take care!

Thank you Rosa...............and yes, it a a marigold. We have several in our garden and they all seem to be well ahead of where they should be at this time of year!

A lovely image but even nicer that you are posting again and are recovering satisfactorily. The restrictions will be a challenge which I'm sure you and your camera will rise to.

HOORAY! HOORAY!!!!! You're BACK!!! *bounces around, squeeing happily* *runs, leaps and lands on you for a hug* Oops...I can't expect that was comfortable for you...but I couldn't help myself...I MISSED YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!! *more hugs*

I cannot tell you how happy I am to know that you are really and truly on the mend! So pleased.

And this bud is just grand, isn't it? I love them when they're like this, little alien fingertips opening up to slowly reveal the beauty of the flower and petals in all their glory. Isn't it funny that sometimes flowers which shouldn't be blooming yet, do! There are Vincas out in front which are blooming, the silly things. And these are blooming for you! HEY GUYS! HERE'S A CLUE...IT'S WINTER!! :D

Thanks so much for your kind remarks on my latest presentation, glad you enjoyed the show...I'll be posting another one today!

Enjoy catching up with everyone, we've all missed you very much!
