I have never been there either, but when I was a kid I used to visit the Rev GW Staunton at Staunton Hall in Staunton. He sowed the seeds for me wanting to travel the world, as his home was a museum of African artefacts including weapons and treen. Also many souvenirs of ships he had been on. He taught me much and thankfully never touched on the subject of religion!
