This is a favorite spot down the hill from where I live. Thankfully, we got a break in the rain the other day so I could sneak down there and get a couple of shots. I used the "Panorama" setting on my camera. (Another clickable image below.)

This pretty male Western Tanager is awaiting his turn at the feeder. He is probably one of the most colorful songbirds in this area and is a rare treat to see.

Our stray cat Marble when he first wandered into our yard last spring and once when he dared to fall asleep on the deck. (I hope you can see all 3 pics.) He was so scared then but will lay in my lap now and even let me pet him. :)

"This year as with last year, the challenge will be about New Year's Resolutions."
My resolution in 2020 is a simple one but not so easy just yet. I love to modify favorite recipes and make them more healthy. I would like to perfect my homemade chocolate recipe using healthier alternative ingredients. Wish me luck! :)
