I'll Take This One!

This young coyote pup found just what he was looking for under the apple tree.

(Looks best on full screen)

Frans Schols, Ulrich John, Smiley Derleth, tiabunna and 5 other people have particularly liked this video

merci Karen pour cette belle vidéo ; qui nous rappelle au passage que ces canidés , tout comme le renard , ont un régime alimentaire mixte , les fruits sont importants en automne

Merci, Dan. So true.

This apple tree has been feeding the wildlife and us for over 25 years now. :)

Yes, it's sad but the cats eat the birds, mice and bunnies too. The circle of life, I guess. :-/

Best to keep our kitties safe inside. We do have a wild stray cat here that has managed to co-exist with the coyotes for a couple of years now. Fingers crossed...

Like foxes, Karen, but increasingly in the UK, the foxes are becoming urbanised and will choose junk food remains instead of wholesome food.

That's great video, Karen. It reminded me of the foxes we sometimes see here (an imported pest, I might add).

Thanks, polytropos. I'm glad you like it too. I was so happy to be looking out the window in that special moment.
