At the bottom of Quidi Vidi, looking west

I was looking through old negatives and found this one from November 1996. It was taken on Ilford XP2, a film I never liked much, in my Minolta X370, a camera I never liked much.

When I scanned it originally, five or six years ago, it was a pretty boring picture, and -- probably because of the poor contrast -- the whole thing had a deep green hue.

This evening I toned the green down (though I didn't get rid of it altogether), and then cleaned up the dust spots, widening the tonal range somewhat.

I like it now.
