Windfall

A few weeks ago, we had a big windstorm and my co-worker asked if I
wanted to come to his house and clear out some fallen trees for
firewood. So a friend and I spent two hours or so at it today. We've
got a couple of days' work ahead of us, but neither of us wanted to
spend too many hours at it today. It's heavy, green wood, and only
fir, and it'll take a year to dry out a bit, but we're glad to have
the wood for our stoves.
