Sting, last night

My ticket said there was to be no photography. But as soon as the
show started, a thousand telephones came out and were held over the
heads of the crowd in front of us (we were in about Row 45). So after
a while I took my own camera out of my pocket and tried to take some
pictures. It wasn't easy and I only got three or four that were at
all good. This was the best of the lot that I took. If you know
what Sting looks like, you'll recognise him. :)
This was taken in my Olympus E-P2 with the half-century-old E.Zuiko
Auto-T 100mm f/3.5 lens attached. I later tried using a more modern
zoom but couldn't get proper manual control of the camera so ended up
with a lot of very bad flops. Ah well, the show was good except for
our awful seats.

Ha! No, the woman to the right is his backup singer, Jo Lawry. Good set of pipes in that woman.
