The meadow

I've been photographing different bits of this former meadow for five
or six years. This series was taken about eight weeks ago, in April
when there were stilll patches of snow on the ground.

The meadow used to be a gigantic and productive hay meadow, 50 acres
or more, the largest in the region. Then it was sold for housing.
The roofs you see are all on the former meadow. So is the foreground
where you can see how the grass and the topsoil under it were scraped
away.

Kodak Colorplus 200 film in my Pen D3. Each frame was originally
scanned separately and I've pulled them back together in PSP X5. The
horizons weren't all the same so all have been cropt a little at top
or bottom or both.
