Glen Haven

Glen Haven, Michigan (Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore); the DH Day Store on the right, the Cannery at the end of the road, and Lake Michigan beyond that.

There are a handful of other buildings "in town," but this is the essence of the place.

One photo, three treatments. This was the photo I was intending (my camera's set to take black & white these days; the color versions are real enough, but don't reflect what I'm shooting). Bibble's Andy plugin says this is a Tri-X photo on Portra paper, which has always been pretty much my old "normal" for black and white.
