I saw this squirrel sneaking up on some food that sight seers had left behind at Yosemite National Park. He'd dart up to behind one rock, look to see if it was safe and then make a break to the next.
By the time he got so I could take this photo, he was so focused on the food I don't think he knew I was there.

I've never tried to modify a photo before. I was always sure I'd screw it up.
Prior to trying it on this photo, it looked like most of the color had been drained out of it and like were were viewing it through a mist.
Please don't be too critical. It was my first attempt after all.

The Confederate White House

The President of the Confederate States of America, Jefferson Davis, lived here till the capital was moved from Montgomery to Richmond.
They moved the capital to Richmond to be nearer the front so that communications would be easier.
