Chris Jordan at The Oval

21 Sep 2007 157
For an 18 year old, (who was still in school 2 months ago), Chris Jordan seems to be surprisingly composed when I see him play. If I'd got to play at his age, I think I'd be a little more excitable.

Traitors, and other suitably important enemies of the state, were escorted into the Tower of London through this gate to await trail or be executed once their sentence had been handed down.

Slaves Quarters, Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg Memorial

28 Jun 2007 96
The Battle of Fredericksburg was a rout for Union forces. They launched an attack on superior positions, with dire consequences for their forces. After several days of the battle, a Confederate doctor , Richard Kirkland, walked onto the battlefield to tend to the dead and dying (with the Union lying in wait). This memorializes his actions.
