Oh my, Jenny, it's like cotton-candy in the sky!! Wonderful silhouettes too. Glorious. :)

Sorry to hear that your daughter has the flu, that's awful. All the stress from being in England, air travel, being back home, jet lag, traveling around with you and making sure everything is good with the world...ugh, it's a lot for a body to deal with! I expect a couple of days of solid sleep and rest will do you BOTH good! :)

Thanks so much for your comments, Jenny. Part of the reason I write lots and lots and don't worry about the length is because of YOU. I know you enjoy reading about my adventures and what's on my mind and if folks get bored, they can move on! I also write for me...the days do blend together so quickly, don't they? Writing it all down is imperative! No matter how much something meant at the time, it still drifts away so I try to capture what I can. So happy you are enjoying the show...and don't worry, I won't stop...I couldn't if I tried. I am programmed to share, just as you are!! :)

And now I will visit your blog and see if I can't catch up with your world...I love the way you write too, we are the immersive twins! :D *hugs*

Thanks so much for your comments on Mandi's flu - she is really quite rough at the moment. Here in Turkey they say someone is "grip" when they are ill, and Mandi is very "grip"!!!!. She's aching from the constant sneezing and now it's very hot and she's just come back from shopping with Dogan so carrying bags and walking hasn't helped any.

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment you've paid me with regard to your writing. I am very honoured indeed. Yes I do really enjoy reading your adventures and I imagine I'm there with you two. My neighbour went away for 6 weeks walking the Pyrenees, bordering France and Spain. He would have been walking about 500 miles up and down mountains and valleys - with incredible scenery, sometimes sleeping outside under the stars! I asked him what kind of camera he was taking and he said he wasn't!!!!!!!!! He said - no worry, I'll remember the views! I said that I couldn't believe it, he'd need the pictures to remind him of where he went, what he saw and how he felt when he was there - but he seemed to think he'd remember it all. I'm 20 years older than him and I've forgotten a lot of things, but seeing pictures remind me - so to do something like that and not take a camera seemed unbelievable to me - as I'm sure it does to you!

Oh dear...I'm so sorry to hear that Mandi has been so very sick. That's awful. The last time Steve and I were so sick was many years ago when we got the flu from a shopkeeper on Christmas Eve. He sneezed and coughed in our area...hours later we began getting sick. We got so sick we literally almost couldn't get out of bed for DAYS and caring for Pumpkin was our biggest concern and effort. Together we somehow managed. It was so bad, we both felt as if we might have died, our temperatures were at least 102...

Here's hoping Mandi is coming around the bend. *crosses fingers*

Re: your traveling friend: you and I can just shake our heads together because we both know that guy will forget all but a few details from his trip. I don't care who you are...a trip like that means that the days melt together and a week later you won't remember what happened on which day. The best details will mix with others. Fine memories will disappear or become distorted. The only way to keep your memories safe is by writing down what happened and taking pictures.

So you will be able to share our unfolding adventures with us as the days, weeks, months and yes, years roll by, because I love to share and I want to remember our travels! Steve isn't documenting but perhaps some day he will. But I love this sort of thing and in time, hopefully I'll turn my blogs into a series of books! :)

*BIG HUGS TO YOU AND MANDI*!

I also feel privileged by the views I have from the window of my bedroom. I can enjoy that wonderful light that is a real gift. The mixture of blue and pink is truly adorable. Have a nice Sunday Jenny.

Yes she is truly privileged to have this sight from her front door, like you with your bedroom window. I can't see the sunset from my home, as I face south and there is the annexe to my home on the western side. I can however, see a sunrise, but that does mean I have to open my window wide and hang out!!!!! I wish you a happy Sunday too, Anton.
