Thank you for your warm comments on my pearls and white-on-white pictures, I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I really did love the macros on my dress--it is such a delicate beauty. I still remember shopping for it. Steve and I went to a shop and crossed our fingers that we might find something appropriate, not too fancy, not too pricey, and in my size. This seemed like a total impossibility to me. Imagine our surprise when we found this dress?! It was PERFECT in every way! I believe it wasn't even $100 dollars...can you believe that??? It needed just a bit of alteration because it was about one size too large but otherwise, WOW! I always imagined that a dress with such delicate beading would be prohibitively expensive. What I also loved was that the beading is most prominent at both ends and about none around the waist. It's so lovely. And I always wanted the excuse to take pictures so this was such fun for me to share with everyone! :)

The only reason I don't like posting wedding pictures is because Steve doesn't have a beard, nor has he for many years. He looks like "his older brother" in these pictures and even though they are 2005, he STILL looks younger today than in those pictures! (oh he doesn't have a brother, lol)! Heh, I know about you and all of your memory cards in ziplocks. It's a good idea, though we just back up everything on hard drives. I worry about losing pictures too, so I don't blame you! I also like looking back to see how far I've come. Neat, isn't it?

Well I went onto your link and saw your gorgeous husband with the three dogs and Pumpkin. What a great picture. I like him without a beard, I would have thought it would make him look older. I saw your picture of your wedding and neither of you look any older at all. You both must have incredible genes!!! I can't believe how inexpensive that dress was because it looks very dear and to have that amount of embellishments on it, I'm really surprised - you look lovely in it and you got a fantastic bargain!

Gosh, thank you so much, Jenny! :D I should post more current pictures. We do look older now but not a lot. The fact of the matter is, our ketogenic lifestyle is known to make people look much younger and it's uncanny because it's true. Before we were eating this way we looked fine, but both of us noticed that after we were eating this way for a while, we both really DID look younger! It is revitalizing in so many ways. I'll try to get a nice selfie of us on our next RV trip and you can see what you think! :)

Yes--we DID get a bargain on that dress! Honestly, I thought it must have been miss-marked. In fact, I think it was actually on the CLEARANCE rack...can you believe that? I didn't think they HAD sales in a bridal shop, let alone on the very dress in the whole place that was exactly what I had hoped to find! :)

Such a garden makes doubt what is the interior of the house and which is the exterior. In any case the possession of plants defines a lot the character and the sensibility of its inhabitants

Tengo las plantas en el alféizar de la ventana de la cocina porque me encanta verlas crecer y cada día puedo mirarlas mientras hago el lavado de los platos. Espero que quieras decir que soy una buena persona al tener plantas en el interior. Jaja

I can understand your delight in finding the exact dress you wanted for your wedding and to have it in a sale too - how fortunate for you. I'm sure it was a sign that your marriage was going to be a wonderful one. The love you two have for each other is so obvious in your writings and I couldn't be happier for you.
