Captive Beauties

My mother gave us this daylily in rememberance of my husband's father. It blooms around the time of his passing, and I have to smile when I see it, thinking of him.

It's been a while - I confess I've been taking a hiatus from ipernity for a little bit, partly because I've been busy with the new place and partly because I haven't been as enthusiastic about my photography. Let's see if I can get back on that bike, so to speak.
