well looks like it worked to me! This is fabulous!
did you get 4-5 rings that go between the body and the lens? they work pretty good.
My daughter has those and I used them for last weeks shot, with her lens!

Thanks Wendi! I have a set of those rings, but I haven't tried using them yet. I bought an adapter made especially for my Canon. It allows the auto-focus to continue to work ... though I'm still figuring out that aspect of it.

I believe manual focus is better for macro anyway Norm.... what did you buy? does it just work with your regular lens? I have a Canon or 2 this sounds interesting.
The macro rings do a good job, but I have to borrow a lens to use them.

I'll have to look up the info for you when I get home. It was a new product and I ordered it 6 weeks before it was available. It works with the Canon EOS lens system. I used manual focus on this shot, but it was nice to zoom into the ballpark with the auto-focus. I suspect if I'd set my auto-focus to single point it may have zoomed right to where I needed to be, but with multi-point focus it seemed to get a little confused! :-)
