Schöne Alltagsszene, Heidi ! So etwas gefällt mir immer sehr ! Schönen Abend !

... ich such hier immer noch, wie diese spezielle "Gesichtsmaske" heißt, die die Nomadenfrauen im Oman tragen ... und warum überhaupt ... melde mich, sobald ich fündig werde ...

Solche Szenen liebe ich auch, Tradition und Moderne nebeneinander.

Man könnte meinen, das ist an der Riviera. Aber das ist bestimmt nur die eine Seite, es wird wohl noch eine orientalische geben.

Very interesting photo, a lot ot see! I have one of those strange "nose masks", but from Iran and it is bigger to cover more skin. I can't even imagine wearing that, it's very uncomfortable!

... I tried to google it, but was not successful.
I think, this kind of masks is not so uncomfortable as we think.
This nomads live in a very hard climate (in summer 52 °C, in shadow !) - may be the mask is a shield against burning sun. We saw old pictures in museum, they wear it also in ancient times, before Islam.
