A folly

Perched on one of the highest points in the Cotswolds, Broadway Tower is a striking example of 18th-century whimsy and ambition. Dreamed up by Capability Brown and realised by architect James Wyatt for the 6th Earl of Coventry, the tower was finished in 1798 and has been turning heads ever since.
