A Queue

Galle Face Green is a long, open seaside park in the heart of Colombo, stretching along the Indian Ocean with busy city streets on the other side. Laid out in the 19th century and once used for horse racing and other colonial-era sports, it is today one of Sri Lanka’s most popular public spaces, where people come in the late afternoon to fly kites, walk, snack from food stalls, and watch the sunset over the water.
