22 Aug 2014 1 264
I found this stamp-like seal stuck in the back of my Mom's old address book. I just watched "Space Cowboys," so astronauts were on my mind.

Space Station 1979

22 Aug 2014 250
While not an actual stamp, it was in some space stamps that I got for my collection. I guess it's more of a seal than a stamp.

Hot Rod Stamp

01 Oct 2014 2 2 284
I bought a book of stamps today and they had hot rods as their theme. This one reminds me of Tom McMullen's classic 1932 Ford. HiBoy.

Batman Stamp

It's not a real stamp, but it should be!

Vermont Stamps

Plate blocks of a stamp honoring Vermont's statehood, from 1991.

Janis Joplin Got Cancelled

1923 Summit

Another stamp in my collection. I like to collect automobiles and airplanes and spaceships - those kinds of self-propelled vehicles. Even dirigibles!

14 Jul 2015 2 343
The Elvis stamp, issued on January 8th, 1993.

Elvis Ballot

14 Jul 2015 3 4 374
How many remember back in 1992 when the U.S. Postal Service had people vote for which Elvis stamp they preferred? It was a huge deal and they had ballots at every post office. I voted for the young Elvis, the one on top.
