Kodak Kodacolor
This is an album of pictures taken using Kodak Kodacolor and Kodacolor II film. I used a lot of it back in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Traffic At Night
| |
|
|
This is a shot of the traffic passing by my bedroom window on the highway in front of our house. I remember resting the camera solidly on the window sill and taking a long, timed exposure. This resulted in the streaks of light. Even on this first roll of film I ever shot, I was pushing my equipment to see what the limit was.

The $64,000 Question
| |
|
"What is it?" As soon as I can find my notes for this roll, I'll let you know. Until then, I haven't the foggiest notion of what it was, other than that it was photographed close up and out of focus like this intentionally. I left part of the film edge in the photo because I thought the grooves at the top left of the frame looked interesting.

Fresh As A Daisy

|
Some of the wildflowers that grow in Southern Illinois. These daisies were growing just outside my hometown. To light this shot, the sun peeked through a tiny area at the top of a tree across the lane from these flowers and mainly shined on the flowers themselves, while leaving the background in shadow.

Chopped

|
|
|
A Ford Model A 1/24th scale model kit I customized by chopping the top and adding a huge engine with a blower and 3 dual Stromberg carburetors. Okay, so maybe the blower and manifold/carburetor setup doesn't really work, but hey, I was a young kid at the time!

What's Made Milwaukee Famous (Has Made a Loser Out…

In early 1978, there was an accident quite near my house. It was some friends of mine who had been out cruising and slid off the road due to snowy conditions and into the ditch that ran along Division Street. Nobody was hurt, but I've always had my suspicions that it was more than snow involved. This picture seemingly paints a different story.

Electronics

On the right, is the second guitar amplifier I ever owned. A friend of mine, who recovered it in the fake leather you see here, sold it to me when he got another, better bass amplifier. It is a Fury amplifier, looks like. That's my old Zenith console television, which I customized.
Taken with my Minolta XD11 and Kodak Kodacolor VR 100 Gen 1 film in 1982.
Canadian Vacation

My family travelled to Ontario, Canada in the Summer of 1980 for a vacation. We had a swell time and here is our rig - a 1979 Ford F-150 with a camper shell and an Apache pop-up trailer it pulled behind.
Taken with my Minolta XD11 and Kodak Kodacolor 100 film.
