I just made this Cheesy Potato Soup, garnished it with parsley and bacon bits, then photographed it. Afterwards came the tasting stage. It passed with flying colors. Taken on October 26th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.

This was my late cat back in 2015 when he was just over a year old. He was a great cat and he's been gone for a few years now, but I still miss him being around.

This is my sister's cat, Marley. I took it at her house on April 1st, 2024. He developed cancer and she had to put him to sleep today, so she was real sad and called me. We ended up talking for about an hour. Something I wasn't aware of, he got his name from Bob Marley, because she said he was so laid back like the singer.

These were Dun Skipper butterflies mating in my backyard.

A KISS poster for one of their tours in 2009, for the release of their album "Sonic Boom." It was even autographed by Gene Simmons. I saw this hanging in Springfield, Illinois in 2013.

"I told you we should have checked the oil."

I was playing a gig in Wisconsin with my band, but the owners of this dog wouldn't let it come to the party. So, he had to watch from the window.

These Gemmed Satyr butterflies are medium-sized and don't look like any other kind of butterflies in my area. They have a home in the corner of my backyard and hang out there every year.

I saw this butterfly just past the back edge of my lawn, in my neighbor's front yard.

These two Red-Spotted Purple butterflies faced off with each other and then began to fight. Here you can see when one of them had the other one pinned to the mat. I don't know what they were fighting over, but it was interesting to watch. I'd never seen this kind of behavior before.

A male Zabulon Skipper butterfly chasing after a female Zabulon Skipper. All they needed was a bottle of champagne and a motel room.

After having some friends over for a cookout, this is all that remained of the grilled food. Taken on July 12th, 2013, with my Kodak Easy Share M1073 IS digital point and shoot camera.

A little 1:64 scale toy van made by Yat Ming. It's based upon a 1970s Ford Econoline van.

This was taken at a local lake and camping area that is quite popular for fishing and boating, too. It was foggy over the lake as the sun was rising that morning. Camera: Minolta XD11 Lens: Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm, f/1.2 Film: Kodak Kodacolor 100 Date: circa May 28th, 1979 Location: Hamilton County, Illinois, U.S.A. Minolta KSF 5075 Dolan's Lake-4 1979 03df

These Grape Colaspis Leaf Beetles are very tiny, but interesting looking.

This is a Peck's Skipper butterfly I photographed during the 2007 butterfly season. They are graceful little butterflies.

This Silver-Spotted Skipper butterfly is one of about 70 different species of butterflies I can see around my yard. These particular butterflies are very inquisitive and will sit and look for me.

I have literally said for decades that, if I were extremely wealthy, my dream car would be a 1953 Buick Skylark convertible. When I passed by this one on the road, I had to stop and go back to take a picture of it. They certainly don't make 'em like this anymore! This would be my absolute dream car for sure! My Dad had a 1956 Buick when I was young and that's the reason I've always liked Buicks. Taken on June 11th, 2024, with my Sony Alpha SLT-a77V DSLR.
