Lolove and William McKinley Wright
This was my mom's mother and father, Martha Lolove Garrett and John Dewey William McKinley Wright, when they got married on July 30th, 1924. Lolove was 21 at the time, and McKinley was 24.
I scanned this from the original negative. It was probably taken with a box camera of some sort.
In those days, when a couple got married, their family and friends would give them a "shivaree," which consisted of banging pots and shooting guns among other things. You can see a washtub with a club on it at the bottom of the picture, so I believe these two were given a shivaree.
