What can it mean?

You've got me wondering, Kenny. :)

I watched the Jodie Foster movie "Contact" the other night. When she went to those far away star systems in the wormhole, that's what inspired this image. This is just a whirlpool created by water going down my kitchen sink. You can see the lip of the whirlpool at the bottom middle.

There isn't much difference - it basically came out of the camera looking like this. All I mainly did was to crop it down a little. I used a different light setting to get it to turn out looking like this from the flourescent lighting above the sink. I'm not sure what color it turned out to be, but I knew it turned out "glowing" like I wanted it to be. So, I didn't really do much post-processing to it. Here's what it looked like without any processing with Photo Shop:

My technique is to try and get the shot to look like I want it to be when I take it and not have to "find" or "create" the shot with post-processing. If I can't do that, then maybe my concept is wrong and I need to think of something else to shoot.
