Been Caught Speeding

Going through my late Mother's albums, I sometimes find the strangest things I've never seen before. This is a speeding ticket that she got when driving through Texas in 1982. Now, Mom was not a fast driver, so I guess what she had written on the back will explain it best: "My one and only speeding ticket in Texas. I'm sure was speed trap."

She was taking a trip with my sister and brother out to visits friends and relatives in New Mexico and Arizona.

Here's what Mom was driving when she got her speeding ticket. If you ask me, it was definitely a speed trap. Loaded down station wagons like this usually don't speed:

Definitely a collectable now. I'd fully believe a speed trap, I was caught interstate by one myself, while pulling a camper trailer.
