1996 Ford Taurus GL Station Wagon

1996 Ford Taurus GL Station Wagon
This is my 1996 Ford Taurus GL station wagon, but with tires I'd like to get for it. They're not actually on the car, but are digitally added just to see what they'd look like. I love my station wagon and have loved station wagons my whole life. When I was little, my family had a brand-new 1967 Rambler station wagon.

Turned out well! It's hard to tell they weren't a part of the original image! Looks pretty good this way! Gives it the old school look!

My Dad grew up in the Fifties and used to customize his cars. So, I grew up looking at pictures of his old cars and loved the look. Still do, that's why I go to so many car shows, I guess.

Dad left his stock ... other than the radio. He usually had the best Delco had to offer. He worked there originally as a radio repairman and worked his way up to engineering. We had station wagons off and on while I was growing up.

So did we. As a young kid, about 6, Dad traded the 1956 Buick in for a brand new 1967 Rambler station wagon.
