Interesting to see. Haven't been to Toowoomba for many years, but friends have just moved there...

When I was first here the population was said to be around 100,000. Now its aid to be around 140,000. It is certainly more cityified than it was. The Yazedi people were the majority of the students in the language classes at TAFE in recent years. I saw something which said there are around 2000 living here.

Toowoomba has been welcoming to refugees from many different troubled countries for decades. The most recent decade to 2020 has seen the largest number. Covid stopped the new arrivals though.
