Sunday challenge 109 - Circles
At the Pioneer museum in Highfield, Toowoomba, Queensland, home of the big cow.
We were unlucky with the weather, driving across the winding road on the Great Diving Range between Kilcoy and Toowoomba, in the pouring rain, with low visibility.

The Big Cow

The Big Cow was built in the 1970s to attract tourists to a working dairy farm at 9-11 Ayrshire Rd, Yandina. It is one of the many Australian Big Things. It was sculpted by Hugh Anderson, who also sculpted the Big Bulls in Rockhampton. The Big Cow is seven times the size of an Ayrshire cow on which it is modelled. It is made of concrete and described as "able to withstand a cyclone"... in 2020 the Big Cow was moved to Highfields.

Tous les types de conifères sont acceptés. :-)

I think this may be a 'Fastigiata' Plum Yew, a variant of Cephalotaxus harringtonia, a very resilient, evergreen conifer.

At Harry’s Lookout, Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.
Harry’s Lookout is part of a very special memorial to a much-loved local eccentric, Harry Thompson. Harry set up his caravan on Shelly Beach, just below the lookout in 1960, and made it his home for the next 40 years.
