315/366 Rosella on our deck
... have not seen one on our deck before, but they are looking for water. Taken through the window, so not great, as I had to lighten it dramatically.

316/366 magic day
A walk on the beach with our dogs.
View to Razorback at Black Head, from Red Head, New South Wales.
A small headland separates Diamond Beach from Shelly Beach. Red Head forms the southern boundary. It is composed of 250 million year old red shales interbedded with thin layers of volcanic ash together with fossil land plant remains (beachsafe.org.au). Further south is Black Head Beach, named after the Irish birthplace (Black Head, Antrim) of the first settler William Hoy, who moved to Black Head, New South Wales, around 1881.

320/366 visiting yachties
A lovely day with friends, brunch at the Boatshed, followed by a walk with our dogs, and a visit to their yacht.
Great adventure for our Westie, Angus, on the dinghy trip to the yacht, two boats in one day. He also met Scottie the yachtie, the very relaxed dog in this photo.

322/366 Ode to the Masters
Inspired by the still life paintings of Clara Peeters.
52 weeks of 2020, week 46... Ode to the Masters... Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo or Leonardo... For this weeks challenge we would like you to recreate the mood, feel and style of those old masters listed above or any of their contemporaries. In particular your shot needs to extol the virtues of light and shadow interplay. You can either recreate an existing work of art or just opt to copy the style, you can do a still life or a portrait or whatever you feel would be suitable.
The term Old Master is used to identify an eminent European artist from the approximate period 1300 to 1800 and includes artists from the Early Renaissance through to the Romantic movement. theartstory.org › definition › old-masters
Clara Peeters (active 1607–1621) was a Flemish still-life painter from Antwerp who worked in both the Spanish Netherlands and Dutch Republic.
Peeters is the best-known female Flemish artist of this era and one of the few women artists working professionally in seventeenth-century Europe, despite restrictions on women's access to artistic training and membership in guilds. Peeters specialized in still-life paintings with food and was prominent among the artists who shaped the traditions of the Netherlandish ontbijtjes, "breakfast pieces," scenes of food and simple vessels, and banketjes, "banquet pieces" with expensive cups and vessels in precious metals.
