It's freezing here in Australia, mid winter. Thankfully we do have great reverse cycle ducted air conditioning, but the gas hob is great in the mornings, boiling the kettle :-)

Thanks Chrissie. I prefer an electric hob, but don't mind cooking with gas, it does have some benefits.

I also liked gas stoves but I'm glad I don't have one any longer, replacing the gas heating one day will be bad enough (our town wants to be carrbon neutral by 2035).
