The Old Bakery Est.1909
From the early 1850s, almost all the area in the vicinity of the Eumundi district was part of three cattle runs - Canando, Yandina and North Kenilworth.
Eumundi, with the railway and the road to the north passing through it, developed as an important centre of the timber and dairying industry.

Gillian Everett club has replied to Shuttering YukonThe Old Bakery is a shop and cafe now, changed hands fairly recently.

The picture conveys a sense of tranquility that is only possible in small towns.
It seems that life unfolds in a slow and serene rhythm.
Without the movement of cars and people, without the noise and the craziness from major centers.
Great light, excellent composition.
