Examining/contemplating Ryan M. Kelly's photo of the car attack in Charlottesville, VA, that killed Heather Heyer and injured 19 others. World Press Photo Exhibition, Toronto. This exhibition is being seen in about a hundred cities this year. Several are open at the moment with more to come. Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto. OK, I butchered this one -- cut buddy's head off right at the neck. didn't get the subject centred properly, etc. But I was shooting quickly and the opportunity vanished the second after I took this, so I couldn't improve on it. That's one of the poignant commentaries on the human condition.
