This is another photo I thought I might post in the World Photography Day group before learning it's only for photos "that are a celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography." This is a celebration of one of my neighbours who was inspired by Diwali to paint her house in a mix of pastel colours. Please have a look at the large version (type Z).

It's World Photography Day, its slogan is "Find your world and share it with us", and here's a piece of my world right across the street! Then I read the rules at the World Photography Day group and found that "Any photographs that are a celebration of the art, craft, science and history of photography will be considered for inclusion in the group." Well, mine celebrate bright colours and shiny things, so I don't think they qualify.
