Can't help but think of a crossbow. Does the building give that feeling of "shooting upward," or did you do it a favor by crop and angle?

The building is mainly monolithic, Bob:

The entrance, where this was taken, is quite good, though.

An oldie but a goodie. Are you housebound or just not feeling like traipsing around in wintry Toronto these days?

John FitzGerald club has replied to Sarah P.
No sun, Sarah. It's deserted us. It shows up for about ten minutes a week to get some clean shirts and then takes off again.

Thanks, Phil. I think I must have been treating this as an abstract.

Clever perspective John..................I love the mix of straight lines and curves.

Thanks, Keith. The mix certainly adds interest to the elevation. It's also the impression you get of the building while walking or driving along the street, so the bottom floors are very attractive. Since you can't really get a long view, tjis -- or so it seems to me, anyway -- allowed Robinson to work with more efficient floor plans in the upper storeys (I should have noted this is an apartment building).
