Lost Creek Ranger Scioty
(pronounced sigh-OH-tee)
born 5.9.2013
male
25 lbs
353 days gestation
Rocky Mountain Highlight x Lost Creek Ranger Ceilidh

Fancy color is WAY down on the list of selection criteria for a working llama. That doesn't stop color and pattern inheritance from being interesting.
The pattern on the body is very close to granddad High Spirits; the head coloring is loosely intermediate between Highlight and maternal grandma Rosie. Although genetics obviously plays a role in the way color shows up when combined with white, each animal turns out unique in the details.
