Lost Creek Sagehopper
Sage is turning out to be a real PITA to photograph. She's a really fine looking young llama, albeit rather plainly colored ... but her combination of curiosity and wariness right now means she freezes in crazy (and unflattering) positions more often than not. She's also a master of the classic walk-up-to-camera-faster-than-it-focuses and that typical llama over-shoulder look as she's leaving. Sometimes she stops walking toward me before I run out of lens [widening] capacity ... and sometimes not. Sometimes I have enough lens to stay far enough away on a given day ... and sometimes not.
The end result is tons of files to sort through for just one half-decent or better photo. So post-processing gets put off a LONG time ... until I can find the time. These photos are from July 1 and June 27.
