Sowjetische Gedenkstätte
Der Obelisk erinnert an mehr als 100 sowjetische Kriegsgefangene, von denen ein großer Teil von den Zwickauer Steinkohlegruben arbeitsunfähig hier im Kriegslazarett an Erkältung und anderen Krankheiten verstarben. Die Anlage wurde vor kurzer Zeit restauriert. Das grüne Rondell existiert so nicht mehr.

In meiner alten Heimat Genthin erinnert auch eine große Gedenkstätte an diese Zeit. Nur anhand dieser Kriegsgräber, weiß man, in welchem Teil Deutschlands man sich befindet
