I love thé timeless façade..elegant and spare, with its contrasting bent tree and perfectly standing to attention light pole. The boat at its mooring adds a really original touch and completes the story being told here.

It is evidently a fisherman's house, dear Diana. In this town overlooking the lagoon there are some canals where fishing boats moor, others with pleasure boats.

Non mi ero accorta che avevi pubblicato un’altra immagine, carissimo Fabio, nella mia latitanza ad intermittenza da IP!
Le case dei pescatori lungo il canale di Muggia sono davvero caratteristiche e tu ha ripreso quest’angolo in maniera ottimale, mostrandoci i colori vivaci di queste abitazioni in una bella luce calda . Elemento di spicco è la barca in attesa , che quasi sembra congiungersi con l’albero di fronte. A completare questa riuscitissima composizione c’è un lampione , che chiude l’immagine a destra. E a me viene voglia di essere lì , chiedere un passaggio in barca , andarmene per i canali e sentirmi parte del tutto…

In alcune parti dei canali, carissima Adele, proprio in prossimità delle abitazioni più antiche, possiamo ammirare queste barche di pescatori con qualcuno indaffarato a sistemare le reti.
In altre parti, invece, stazionano le barche da diporto, di varie dimensioni.
Anch'io, dovessi scegliere, userei la barca della foto per un giro sulla laguna; probabilmente più scomoda ma anche più caratteristica.
