Getting thinner and thinner, unfortunately…
Titolo ed immagine parlano in maniera così eloquente che aggiungere ogni riflessione sulla nostra fragile esistenza mi sembrerebbe pleonastico.
Voglio piuttosto concentrarmi sulla immagine ed esaltarne il minimalismo simbolico , enfatizzato dalla scelta monocromatica, d’obbligo più che mai in questo caso . Diagonale e marea , poche figure umane e qualche riflesso accennato .
Una foto decisamente riuscita grazie ad una intuizione felice, alla capacità di tradurre uno stato d’animo in uno scatto in cui è impossibile non riconoscersi.

Sembra strano, ma appena ho scorto questo panorama in riva al mare ho subito pensato ad una foto editata così, carissima Adele, ed ho anche provato una sensazione che poi ho traferito nel titolo. Insomma, sembrava quasi che questo angolo di spiaggia aspettasse me per condividere i miei pensieri, cosa che mi succede raramente.
Ho ridotto al minimo il dettaglio di mare e di cielo, in modo da evidenziare maggiormente la lunga passerella in diagonale che appare l'unica, seppure esile, certezza. Sono felice che non solo tu, ma anche gli altri abbiano condiviso questa interpretazione; non mi capita spesso di fare foto particolari come questa, ma ne sono felice.

Torno su questa foto ogni tanto...dice poco...eppure tanto***
Mi piace questa riduzione di tutti i colori fino al delicato pastello - mi piace il minimalismo che irradia l'immagine... eppure c'è vita... i visitatori, che sono riconoscibili solo attraverso i contorni neri. Forse ti stai godendo l'alba o il tramonto o semplicemente passeggiando negli ultimi giorni di ottobre.
Quest'anno non sono stata in Italia in autunno e purtroppo devo aspettare la primavera. Mi manca l'acqua, il mare, l'odore del sale e il silenzio quando la maggior parte dei turisti se n'è andata e molti alberghi sono già chiusi.
La tua foto mi esprime tutto questo.

il titolo è fantastico

Grazie ancora per la bella compagnia che fai a me ed alle mie foto da così tanti anni, carissima aNNa ! Mi trovavo a Grado, nella parte più moderna con i suoi hotels e stabilimenti balneari, ed era mattino inoltrato. Come ho già detto ad Adele, appena ho visto lo scorcio ho pensato ad una foto così, con grande contrasto e in b/n, salvo inserire un filtro.
Poi ho visitato la parte antica di Grado, con le sue chiese e i suoi musei all'aria aperta di reperti romani.
Il mare ed il sole del mio paese, uniche ricchezze che ci sono rimaste, ti attende con la bella stagione !

I increased the contrast, dear Güni, and almost completely eliminated the sea and sky details to make the diagonal walkway the visual center of the photo. A photo that is the result of my personal reflection....
