What the. . . . ?

I photographed this against a blue background and the camera misinterpreted the white balance and treated the background as if were gray - completely screwing up the white balance. The actual color of the orchids can be seen at www.ipernity.com/doc/304817/40967678.

I do like the artificially created color. Had I shot this in RAW instead of JPEG, I could have corrected it.
